Every year, for our anniversary, we make the trip up to Vermont. every year, it is cold and rainy. We usually have our friends the Pattersons come too, but we all decided to look for another weekend. Then, we looked at the weather on Monday and it looked like it was going to be pretty good. We asked our old neighbors from Sandy Hook, Ct to join us. They have two girls the exact ages of the girls. To make it even more exciting, we didn't tell the girls that the Bates were coming. We woke up Saturday morning to a gorgeous day. We went tubing, water skiing (even me!)and swimming all day. Sunday, we woke up and did it again. John got his first trip on the boat, and the dogs even had fun. Sammy and Buzz were excited to see their buddy Ozzie.
